Couples Therapy

But we loved with a love that was more than love —Edgar Alan Poe

Love is not enough.

Relationships can be beautiful; they challenge us in ways that compel us to open ourselves up and to grow. They ask us to pay close attention, to care generously and deeply for our partner(s) and to get unstuck when we become embedded in patterns that create a sense of disconnection, discontent or insecurity. Tension and conflict are normal experiences in any kind of relationship; our goal is to move through them with skill and to become masters of reconnection and repair. Whether you are decades into your relationship, or just starting out, it may be time to explicitly define what a secure functioning partnership means to you. Relationship therapy is an opportunity for growth—for both the individual who wants to show up wholly in their partnership, and for the relationship that is calling to be clearly shaped by an aligned vision and purpose. And love, of course.

Before working with couples, I like to set up a brief (15-20 min) virtual consultation so we can learn about each other and make sure that working together feels like a good fit. If you are considering Relationship Therapy and would like to learn more about my approach, let’s connect!
